It’s never too late to evolve

Hi, Louis Baxter here. At the ripe age of 58 I have never been so interested in information technology and particularly internet markeing as right now. I was lucky to get a Cambridge University education, but in this day and age, anyone and every one can benefit from the unbelievable good emerging online education market. The internet and online education is rapidly become the great equaliser. At the click of a mouse or a whisper to Alexa or a Google Home Hub, everyone connected can get up-to-the- minute information on just about every conceivable topic. Few must be surprised at how fast technology is disrupting entire industries at breakneck speed is simply astonishing and in many cases such as banking and international money transfer is long overdue. If  you are connected online, there is opportunity out there for everyone in whatever industry you are. My own career has spanned financial systems analysis and development to client project management in the online marketing niche on behalf of clients such as Fujitsu Siemens, Ricoh, Epson & ADAC as well as business incubation for successful startups such as BaanBooLOo Village in Thailand. My career even included periods between IT jobs of engaging in direct sales ( fancy vacuum cleaners to utilities ) and a several years career break as a masseur after I found myself feeling increasingly dizzy and unwell in my 30s after staring for long hours at monochrome screens searching for the proverbial semicolon in reems of code flashing past my eyes. Today technology is so much more user friendly. Here is just breathtaking opportunity happening on the internet. Therein is lies the new challenge. There are so many different competing applications for every niche from online shopping solutions to CRM solutions, membership sites, blogging apps etc. You name it, you will find incredibly diverse solutions. The solution to help staying focused is to follow proven mentors. They are possibly vital for sanity and maintaining a sense of perspective; especially if you are a SOHO, self-employed working on your own and trying to motivate yourself or even just trying to develop your personal time management skills etc. They help to keep up-to-date with new trends and put what is happening in the online world into perspective.  Whether you are in business, studying, running a charity and need to expand an online audience, listening to proven mentors can save you months and maybe years of time, effort and money.  Technology and trends for reaching out to new and existing audiences becomes more sophisticated daily.
